Apple and Blueberry Porridge
Ingredients:
- 30g / 1 oz porridge oats
- 1 tbsp blueberries
- 1 apple
- 180ml / 6 fl oz milk of choice
- Pinch of cinnamon
Method:
- Core and dice the apple and put in a saucepan with a splash of water on a low heat.
- Cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes or until the apple is soft.
- Puree the apple in a blender.
- Put the milk in a saucepan on a medium heat and bring to a simmer.
- Add the porridge oats and cook for 2 mins or until it’s got a thick and creamy consistency. Take off the heat.
- Add the apple puree, a pinch of cinnamon and mix well.
- Fold in the blueberries while the porridge is still warm and mix.
- Serve on a cute plate and enjoy!
