#1. Fastnet Lighthouse
The Fastnet Rock Lighthouse is a famous landmark that can be seen from the hotel. It sits just off the coast and stands at 54 metres tall. It is known as Ireland’s Teardrop, due to it being the last thing many emigrants saw when leaving Ireland on ships and emigrating to the USA and further afield.
Visitors can circumnavigate it on one of the ferries that offer tours of the local area.
