Elf Town is a two hour Christmas experience set over three different buildings with the magical journey itself set over four floors, where at the end, you and your family get a private visit with Santa.

The children will be amazed when he knows a little secret about them. Each child will receive a gold coin from Santa which they can take to his Toy Shop and exchange for a gift of their choice!

On arrival, each child will receive an Elf Town passport, Elf Hat and a name badge.

Elf Town promises a magical experience for all the family. From arriving at the castle gates to be greeted by Glitterpants, Santa’s Head Elf, to leaving with a present from Santa that you have chosen yourself.

Children and adults alike will be mesmerised by this truly special Santa visit. Each visit lasts up to 2 hours, with plenty of activities to enjoy, along with meeting Santa. These include:

🎄Write your letter to Santa with Postie the Elf and post it in the Elftown post office!
🎄Decorate cookies with Mrs Claus!
🎄Check out the Elftown Express at the Elf Town Train Station!
🎄Journey to the Grotto for your family’s private visit with Santa where children will be amazed at all Santa knows!
🎄Visit Santa’s Toy Shop stocked from floor to ceiling where you exchange your magical Elftown Coin for any toy you like in the Toy Shop!

Grown-ups can enjoy a mulled wine/fruit punch and some mince pies – all complimentary.

Tickets can be booked online for the date and time of your choice. Santa will be in residence on select dates from November 24th right up to December 23rd 2023.

Once booked, your child will receive an Elf Town branded gift pack with an official invite from Santa to visit Elf Town on your chosen date. Inside will be a golden ticket and a map of Elf Town so you can plan all the exciting activities you are going to do!

This will come by post, addressed to your child, from Santa himself before your booking date. New for this year; Santa will also include a personalised postcard for each child thanking them for coming to Elf Town – something the grown-ups can leave on the tree on Christmas morning. All included with your ticket purchase

Elf Town is fully accessible and offers a sensory friendly experience for those who may find a regular visit overwhelming. The experience is modified to allow for more movement and will be less bright and loud.

The sensory experience takes place on Friday, December 1st at 11am and should be booked in advance.

Elf Town will take place at Ballybrit Racecourse, Galway. There will be plenty of parking on-site at no extra cost. There is also public transport via buses 405 and 409, which drops you off approx 800m from the venue. These leave from Galway city centre.

There is a coffee shop in the entertainment area selling snacks, tea, coffee and hot chocolate for those who wish to purchase them.

Children will be brought to decorate cookies in Mrs Clauses kitchen, which they can also enjoy during their visit. And adults will be offered complimentary mulled wine, fruit punch and mince pies on arrival.
